HERE ARE A FEW HELPFUL HINTS FOR LEAVING OR GIVING TIPS:
FOR FOOD DELIVERY - 10% but a minimum of $2, but it is appropriate to give more if it is A difficult delivery (for example, storm, snow, ice)
WAITER AND WAITRESS - 15% if service is adequate; 20% if service is very good; 10% if service is poor
COATROOM - $1 per coat
VALET OR GARAGE - $2 to get your car
TAXI DRIVER - 10%-!5%, is adequate and $1 per bag if handling.
WASHROOM ATTENDANT - 50 cents
BARBER OR HAIRDRESSER - 15% to 20%
OVER THE COUNTER OR FAST FOOD RETAILERS WITH TIP JARS - tips are not necessary, but are nice if they are bringing food to your table or assisting you with special seating needs for a child or handicapped individual.
HOTEL HOUSEKEEPER - $2 - $5 per night
HOTEL DOORMAN - $1 per bag.
HOTEL BELLHOP - $1 per bag
GAS ATTENDANT - a tip is not necessary, but optional
FURNITURE DELIVERY - $5 to $20 depending on the order, or offer a cold or hot drink.
MOVER - $10 to $25 per person
